Key Responsibilities

• Assess middleware inventory, configurations, versions, and application dependencies
• Define migration approach, wave sequencing, risk, and rollback strategies
• Design and configure IBM MQ components (Queue Managers, channels, listeners, HA/DR)
• Configure SSL/TLS certificates, keystores, and enterprise security standards
• Support load balancer integration and observability tooling (IR360, OTEL, Instana)
• Execute Heritage → NGDC migrations, monitor jobs, and validate synchronization
• Support production cutover, HA/DR failover drills, and post-migration health checks
• Update CMDB, ServiceNow, Jira, and deliver migration reports and build scripts
• Support decommissioning of legacy middleware and handover to steady-state teams

Required Skills

• IBM MQ — Queue Managers, channels, listeners, HA/DR, security configuration
• Data Center Migration / DC Exit / DC Refresh (mandatory)
• Java / J2EE fundamentals for middleware integration and troubleshooting
• Load Balancer design and configuration (F5 or equivalent)
• SSL/TLS certificates and enterprise security standards
• ServiceNow, Jira, CMDB processes
• Experience in regulated Banking/Financial Services environments
