Description

You will manage IBM MQ infrastructure, lead data center migrations, and ensure high availability and security for financial services middleware.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure IBM MQ components including Queue Managers, channels, listeners, and HA/DR strategies.
• Plan and execute data center migrations, defining wave sequencing, risk assessments, and rollback procedures.
• Configure SSL/TLS certificates, keystores, and enforce enterprise security standards.
• Integrate load balancers and implement observability using tools like IR360, OTEL, and Instana.
• Maintain CMDB, ServiceNow, and Jira records while delivering migration reports and build scripts.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with IBM MQ, specifically Queue Managers, channels, and HA/DR.
• Proven track record in Data Center Migration, DC Exit, or DC Refresh projects.
• Strong Java/J2EE fundamentals for middleware integration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with load balancer design and configuration (F5 or equivalent).
• Proficiency in SSL/TLS certificate management and enterprise security standards.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, Jira, and CMDB processes.
• Experience working in regulated Banking or Financial Services environments.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency with observability and monitoring tools: IR360, OTEL, and Instana.
• Automation and scripting skills using Shell, Python, and Ansible.
