Description

Own IBM MQ infrastructure, migration projects, and operational stability for regulated banking environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define migration approaches, wave sequencing, and rollback strategies for data center exits.
• Design and configure IBM MQ components including Queue Managers, channels, listeners, and HA/DR setups.
• Execute Heritage to NGDC migrations, monitor jobs, and validate synchronization.
• Support load balancer integration and configure SSL/TLS certificates and enterprise security standards.
• Update CMDB, ServiceNow, and Jira, and deliver migration reports and build scripts.

Required Skills

• IBM MQ expertise: Queue Managers, channels, listeners, HA/DR, and security configuration.
• 8+ years of experience in Data Center Migration, DC Exit, or DC Refresh projects.
• Java/J2EE fundamentals for middleware integration and troubleshooting.
• Load balancer design and configuration (F5 or equivalent).
• Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, and CMDB processes.
• Background in regulated Banking or Financial Services environments.

Preferred Skills

• Observability tools: IR360, OTEL, Instana.
• Automation and scripting: Shell, Python, Ansible.
