Description

You will own the assessment, migration, and administration of IBM MQ middleware environments, ensuring high availability and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Assess middleware inventory, configurations, and application dependencies to define migration strategies and risk mitigation plans.
• Design and configure IBM MQ components, including Queue Managers, channels, listeners, and HA/DR setups.
• Configure SSL/TLS certificates, keystores, and enterprise security standards while supporting load balancer integration.
• Execute heritage-to-NGDC migrations, monitor jobs, validate synchronization, and support production cutover and failover drills.
• Maintain CMDB, ServiceNow, and Jira records, deliver migration reports, and decommission legacy middleware.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in middleware administration.
• Deep expertise with IBM MQ, Queue Managers, and Listeners.
• Proficiency in Java and J2EE ecosystems.
• Experience with observability tools such as IR360, OTEL, or Instana.
• Hands-on knowledge of CMDB, ServiceNow, and Jira for IT service management.
• Strong understanding of data center operations and network configurations.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
