Description

You will manage and maintain MQ platform environments and middleware components.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, test, and maintain MQ Platform (V8 and above) across multiple server and network operating system environments.
• Design and build distributed queue management systems, including MQ clusters and MQ Publish/Subscribe setups.
• Define MQ objects, queues, channels, processes, services, and listener ports.
• Implement role-based security for WebSphere MQ queues and other objects to manage data access and administration.
• Perform software installations, patch management, backup, and recovery for WebSphere MQ servers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in MQ administration.
• Expertise in MQ Platform V8 and above.
• Proficiency with MQSC commands for administration tasks.
• Experience with WebSphere, Apache, Tomcat, and IIS.
• Hands-on experience with clustering, security, and enterprise monitoring.
• Proven ability in performance tuning and patch management.
• Experience with backup and recovery procedures for MQ environments.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate degree.
