Description

You will own the end-to-end provisioning, onboarding, and performance tuning of RabbitMQ and ZooKeeper middleware platforms for high-traffic telecom systems. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and onboarding of new application teams onto RabbitMQ and ZooKeeper clusters.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Ansible to automate deployment and scaling.
• Optimize RabbitMQ exchange types, queue mirroring, and ZooKeeper quorum settings for low latency and high throughput.
• Implement secure onboarding protocols including SSL/TLS, LDAP/Active Directory integration, and RBAC.
• Manage version upgrades and data migrations with zero downtime for core client services.

Required Skills

• Expert-level knowledge of RabbitMQ, including cluster setup, Shovel/Federation plugins, and policy management.
• Strong experience managing ZooKeeper ensembles, including quorum configuration, snapshots, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, or Chef for automated lifecycle management.
• Deep understanding of Linux OS (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu), including kernel tuning and network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with monitoring middleware health using Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• 5+ years of experience in Middleware Engineering, DevOps, or System Administration.
• Proven experience in onboarding or implementation projects within an enterprise environment.

Preferred Skills

• Strong experience working on Telecom domain projects.
• Experience ensuring middleware setups meet strict telecom requirements for high availability.
