Description

Lead middleware strategy, architecture, and technical execution for complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop roadmaps for middleware efforts, including application upgrades, core infrastructure, and compliance items.
• Drive middleware backlog prioritization by analyzing epics, providing estimates, and identifying dependencies.
• Provide technical leadership for middleware architecture, configuration, development, and deployment.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root cause analysis for integration issues.
• Manage 24/7 on-call support and monitor IT Service Management systems to resolve customer issues.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience managing middleware applications including Kafka, IIS, Tomcat, WebSphere, and WebLogic.
• Expertise in installing, configuring, and performance tuning clustered middleware environments.
• Deep understanding of JVM internals, including Garbage Collection and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix operating systems (RHEL/Solaris) and shell scripting (Korn, Bourne).
• Proficiency in Python and WLST scripting.
• Experience with DevOps toolsets including Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Knowledge of configuration management and automation tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or RunDeck.
• Working knowledge of Azure or other cloud technologies.
• Ability to lead requirements definition and provide architectural expertise.
