Description

You will perform middleware and backend service testing for digital payment initiatives in the banking domain.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end testing on applications to ensure business, technical, and functional requirements are met.
• Design and execute manual and automated test scripts to identify defects prior to production.
• Test backend services and integrations with upstream and downstream systems.
• Manage testing risks by documenting them clearly and taking preventative action when risks become unacceptable.
• Provide verbal and written status updates to stakeholders and facilitate communication throughout the testing lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on middleware testing.
• Strong expertise in web service testing, including XML schema and JSON.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex query writing and database schema review.
• Experience with Selenium automation and BDD Cucumber.
• Proficiency with ALM and JIRA.
• Ability to decompose requirements into testable cases covering positive, negative, and varied data scenarios.
• Banking domain exposure.
• Experience testing integrations and backend services.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Agile testing processes and API testing.
• 3+ years of experience with automation processes.
• Exposure to framework creation.
