Description

You will manage and optimize middleware infrastructure across Windows and Unix platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade application servers including JBoss, Wildfly, and Apache Tomcat.
• Manage web servers such as IIS and Apache, implementing SSL at both web and application levels.
• Own incident communication for SLA breaches and major outages, coordinating with management and technical teams.
• Perform root cause analysis for complex outages and drive long-term resolution through incident management.
• Mentor operations teams on complex technical issues and collaborate with infrastructure and development teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in middleware technologies and troubleshooting.
• Expertise in JBoss, Wildfly, and Apache Tomcat on Windows and Unix.
• Hands-on experience with IIS and Apache web servers.
• Proficiency in Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Strong scripting skills in Shell, Perl, or Python.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as WebSphere MQ, JMS, or ActiveMQ.
• Knowledge of Java/JEE technologies and Java application performance optimization.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices using tools like Jenkins.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace or AppDynamics.

Preferred Skills

• ITIL Certification.
• Experience in infrastructure sizing, capacity planning, or cloud computing.
