Description

You will configure, install, and troubleshoot application servers such as JBoss, Apache Tomcat, and Wildfly on Windows and Unix platforms. You will manage web servers including IIS and Apache, handling SSL implementation at both web and application server levels. Your role requires hands-on experience with Java/JEE technologies and performing installation, upgrades, and fixpacks for JBoss.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot JBoss, Tomcat, and Wildfly on Windows and Unix environments.
• Manage web server configurations for IIS and Apache, including SSL implementation.
• Resolve complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis for outages in collaboration with infrastructure and development teams.
• Own incident communication during SLA breaches and major incidents, coordinating with management and stakeholders.
• Implement CI/CD and DevOps practices, evaluating JEE tools for cloud environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Middleware Technologies and JBoss.
• Expertise in Apache Tomcat, IIS, and Apache web servers.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for Java applications and JEE technologies.
• Proficiency in Linux, shell scripting, and Python.
• Experience with messaging technologies like WebSphere MQ, JMS, or ActiveMQ.
• Knowledge of performance optimization and infrastructure sizing.
• Understanding of software development methodologies and architecture consulting.

Preferred Skills

• ITIL Certification.
• Experience in capacity planning and performance modeling.
