Description

You will design, deploy, and maintain the networking components for virtual WPC environments. This role requires onsite presence in Spring, TX, including participation in 12-hour daytime on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points to ensure high availability and security.
• Design and configure Layer 2/3 environments, implementing VLANs, routing protocols (BGP/OSPF), ACLs, and VPN tunnels within industrial IT systems.
• Troubleshoot Cisco hardware and industrial networking components in air-gapped and secure environments.
• Perform network monitoring, analysis, and reporting using SolarWinds, Wireshark, and SNMP-based telemetry to proactively resolve issues.
• Implement network security controls, including firewall policies and intrusion detection, in partnership with cybersecurity teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning across enterprise switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Deep expertise in Cisco networking technologies and Layer 2/3 design principles.
• Strong knowledge of VLAN segmentation, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and high-availability architectures.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and diagnostic tools such as SolarWinds, syslog, and Wireshark.
• Proven ability to design secure remote-access solutions and network segmentation strategies.
• Strong documentation skills for network diagrams, configurations, and standard procedures.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with customers, OT stakeholders, and cybersecurity partners.
