Lead application and data migration to Google Cloud Platform, designing modern data management solutions and transforming raw data into actionable insights.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data engineering solutions for application migration to GCP.
• Lead technical efforts to transform raw data into actionable business insights.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and development leadership to ensure seamless system integration.
• Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to optimize data management solution performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or application development.
• Expert proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark for data processing.
• Proficiency with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
• Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
• Ability to work onsite in Phoenix, AZ, 3-5 days per week.
• Experience acting as an onsite team lead.
