Description

Lead end-to-end application migration from on-premises environments to AWS Outposts, ensuring minimal business disruption and timely delivery.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage migration pods and coordinate cross-functional teams including infrastructure, security, networking, database, and operations.
• Drive migration planning, cutover coordination, and execution of migration waves within defined timelines and quality standards.
• Track migration progress in JIRA, identify blockers, and implement solutions to ensure continuous delivery.
• Manage dependencies, risks, and issues while ensuring operational readiness for all migrated applications.
• Communicate status and resolutions to stakeholders and executives, maintaining transparency throughout the migration lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in cloud migration programs, with a focus on hybrid infrastructure and enterprise governance.
• Strong understanding of AWS services, Linux/Windows platforms, and VMware virtualization technologies.
• Proficiency in Agile delivery methodologies and risk/issue management frameworks.
• Experience with networking concepts and enterprise migration governance.
• Hands-on familiarity with JIRA for tracking, reporting, and workflow management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve technical blockers without direct hands-on coding.
• Strong communication and ownership mindset with a drive to achieve targets.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with executive leadership to align migration goals with business objectives.
• Background in managing large-scale, multi-application migration waves.
