Description

You will build and maintain secure container images for Python and R to support Analytics teams on SageMaker and Domino Data Lab.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Analytics teams to gather requirements for Python and R container images.
• Resolve dependencies for required Python and R packages, ensuring compatibility with SageMaker and Domino Data Lab.
• Identify and address security vulnerabilities in container images to maintain reliability standards.
• Test and validate container images for performance and stability before deployment.
• Document processes and provide training to ensure effective team usage and management of custom containers.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on containerization.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or R, with proven experience managing custom containers.
• Deep expertise with Amazon SageMaker and its various components.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Knowledge of dependency management and package resolution for Python and R ecosystems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
• Understanding of security best practices and vulnerability mitigation for container images.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Domino Data Lab integration.
