Description

You will own the full Android application lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to release on app stores.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end Android development including coding, testing, and deployment.
• Translate functional requirements into technical solutions and build prototypes during scoping.
• Collaborate with product managers and web developers to maintain supporting frameworks.
• Create device-specific user interfaces and optimize application performance.
• Standardize platforms to deliver across multiple brands with minimal code duplication.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Android development.
• Strong Object-Oriented (OO) design and programming skills.
• Proficiency in Java (J2EE/J2ME).
• Hands-on experience with the Android SDK.
• Experience with SQLite, MySQL, or similar database management systems.
• Familiarity with the Eclipse IDE.
• Ability to manage the full app lifecycle from design to deployment and support.

Preferred Skills

• Experience standardizing platforms for multi-brand delivery.
• Background in collaborating with web development teams.
