Description

Own the quality assurance lifecycle for Android mobile applications, ensuring thorough testing coverage across functional, non-functional, and integration scenarios.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and scripts for Android applications.
• Perform functional, performance, device compatibility, and integration testing across various Android and iOS versions and screen sizes.
• Identify, report, and track bugs using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior testers and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mobile application testing with a strong focus on Android.
• Proficiency in manual testing, including writing detailed test cases, scenarios, and bug reports.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with mobile application testing tools and frameworks.
• Ability to test across iOS and Android platforms.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate technical findings effectively to stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
