Description

You will drive the strategy, architecture, and technical direction of the modernized cross-platform application ecosystem, unifying Android and backend interfaces into a scalable Kotlin Multiplatform architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Establish engineering standards and guide teams through complex technical decisions to deliver a scalable app experience.
• Serve as the technical authority and escalation point for complex design, architecture, and performance challenges.
• Mentor engineers across Android and Backend to develop strong Multiplatform expertise.
• Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and architecture walkthroughs.
• Build apps end-to-end, from architecture to deployment, leveraging RESTful APIs and offline storage mechanisms.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of Software Engineering experience with a focus on Android.
• 5+ years of hands-on expertise with Jetpack Compose.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).
• Experience with RESTful APIs, offline storage, and sync mechanisms.
• Understanding of modern UI architecture, including SwiftUI concepts.
• Ability to move fast, prioritize effectively, and deliver with limited process.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cross-platform application ecosystems.
• Background in partnering closely with product and design stakeholders.
