Lead technical direction and architecture for iOS and iPadOS applications, ensuring scalability for millions of users.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and release mobile applications using industry-standard patterns and clean architecture.
• Define technical roadmaps and ensure projects meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with API architects, DevOps, and product owners to integrate mobile apps into the broader ecosystem.
• Partner with designers to implement precise UIs, adhering to UX best practices and accessibility standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mobile app development.
• Expertise in Swift, Kotlin, Java, Dart, or Objective-C.
• Proficiency with Xcode, Android Studio, and Visual Studio.
• Deep understanding of REST/JSON APIs and gRPC.
• Mastery of asynchronous programming (async/await, Futures, Streams, callbacks, or pipelines).
• Extensive knowledge of design patterns including MVVM, VIPER, MVC, MVP, Clean Architecture, and Singleton.
• Experience with dependency management via CocoaPods, Carthage, Gradle, Maven, or pub.
• Competency in unit testing using mocks, Arrange/Act/Assert, and code coverage metrics.
