Description

You will lead mobile development efforts across Android and iOS, shipping features and improving existing ones based on customer needs. You will own the release pipeline, write automated tests, and maintain integrations with third-party services. Mentoring mid-level engineers and setting technical standards are key parts of this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead native mobile development for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Make implementation decisions while remaining hands-on in the codebase.
• Write and expand automated test coverage to ensure app quality.
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party services and data providers.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and establish strong technical practices.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of professional work experience with native iOS and Android development.
• Strong knowledge of Swift and Xcode.
• Solid knowledge and experience with Java and Android Studio.
• Experience shipping and supporting production mobile apps.
• Strong object-oriented design skills and ability to write testable, maintainable code.
• Appreciation for clean code, clear documentation, and thoughtful code reviews.
• Familiarity with mobile UI patterns, animations, and platform conventions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Firebase services (real-time data, storage, authentication).
• Experience scaling a startup or working in an autonomous environment.
• Bonus points for experience with Node.js back-end services or serverless/cloud functions.
