Description

You will design and develop features for existing Android applications and build prototypes during technical scoping stages.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop device-specific user interfaces, experiences, and UI prototypes.
• Optimize application performance, memory usage, multithreading, and networking.
• Integrate backend systems and web services using JSON or XML.
• Coordinate requirements with offshore teams and communicate progress to management.
• Handle production issues in a timely manner.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of software development experience, with 3-5 years focused on Android.
• Proficiency in Objective-C, Swift, or Java.
• Strong experience with React Native, Angular, or Backbone frameworks.
• Experience with native iOS development frameworks, including API, testing, and deployment.
• Strong programming skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, REST, JSON, and XML.
• Experience writing unit test cases using XCTest or OCNUnit.
• Solid understanding of software design patterns including MVC, Delegation, Singleton, Factory, and Adapter.
• Expertise in mobile security and app memory management.
• Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
