Description

You will own the end-to-end development of mobile engineering projects and business solutions. You will drive these initiatives from discovery through implementation, ensuring high-quality delivery and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Execute mobile engineering projects from discovery through implementation.
• Troubleshoot business and production issues for mobile devices and provide engineering support.
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to team development.
• Analyze memory issues and leaks using tools like DDMS or MAT.
• Develop and improve action plans based on current technical expertise.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building scalable ecommerce applications or mobile software.
• Android software development with a published application.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Experience with MVVM, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Development of mobile network clients using HTTP, REST APIs, and Google Cloud Messaging.
• Implementation of Google Play APIs including Maps, Location, and Cloud Messaging.
• Software debugging using debuggers, loggers, and crash report tools.
• Unit and integration testing of Android code.
• Git/Github for distributed source code version control.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with embedded real-time systems with limited memory and processing resources.
• Experience with Agile methodology using Scrum.
