Description

You will own the testing and quality assurance process for wireless mobile hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and revise test plans, procedures, and quality standards for wireless products and accessories.
• Manage bug reporting and resolution across functions, including using OEM tools to upgrade device software.
• Validate partner test results by executing regression plans and performing ad-hoc testing.
• Test and certify maintenance and security releases by executing relevant regression plans.
• Compile test results, collect logs, and write engineering reports for OEMs and fix agents.
• Monitor customer issues, conduct root cause analysis, and develop improved test methods.
• Deploy new test tools as necessary.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mobile device testing.
• Proficiency with Spirent or Eggplant.
• Basic logging skills using QXDM and QCAT.
• Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
• Understanding of LTE and 5G RF and Core technologies.
• Ability to manage test sample inventory and track firmware upgrades.
• Capability to communicate technical information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with Development and E2E teams.
