Description

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of iOS applications serving millions of users.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Own design decisions for new and existing application development, escalating technical obstacles as needed.
• Lead medium to large-sized projects and provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
• Collaborate with Architecture, DevOps, and Product Management to evaluate tools and estimate solution feasibility.
• Develop software solutions, perform unit and performance testing, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Partner with QA Engineers to develop test plans and resolve defects during release stabilization.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience developing mobile applications.
• Expertise in Swift and Objective-C programming languages.
• Strong grasp of algorithms, data structures, and time complexity.
• Deep understanding of mobile architecture patterns and application life cycles.
• Proficiency in User Interface Design and mobile UX/UI concepts.
• Experience with Apple Store structure, maintenance, and deployment.
• Knowledge of backend interfaces including APIs and CDNs.
• Experience with JSON manipulation.
• Familiarity with OWASP security standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with third-party SDKs such as Firebase, Branch, Salesforce, or Foursquare.
• Knowledge of mobile secure coding practices.
