Description

Design and architect secure iOS and Android mobile medical applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement healthcare interoperability using HL7 and FHIR standards.
• Enable BLE-enabled medical device connectivity and secure communication.
• Ensure mobile security for PII/PHI protection, including encryption and MDM/MAM policies.
• Design cloud backend integration using microservices, serverless, or event-driven architectures.
• Guide the team in implementing, testing, and maintaining compliant mobile applications.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mobile application architecture.
• Hands-on expertise with Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, and Flutter.
• Deep understanding of medical device integrations and BLE communication.
• Strong experience in mobile security, data protection, and encryption.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards: HIPAA, GDPR, GxP, FDA QSR, ISO 13485.
• Knowledge of cloud backend architecture and scalable design patterns.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with GenAI technologies.
• Experience with performance tuning for mobile medical applications.
