You define the mobile platform architecture, drive cross-team technical decisions, and scale AI-driven SDLC standards for distributed teams.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Drive cross-team technical decisions, platform direction, and multi-team initiatives including architecture alignment and trade-off resolution.
• Define and scale AI-driven SDLC standards, tools, guardrails, and automation patterns.
• Elevate engineering quality through code reviews, architecture reviews, and mentoring senior engineers.
• Collaborate across product, data, security, and infrastructure teams to influence stakeholders and drive alignment.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of software engineering experience, with significant tenure at Staff or Principal level.
• Hands-on proficiency in Swift/iOS and Kotlin/Android.
• Experience publishing apps to App Store and Google Play.
• Strong background in MVVM and Clean Architecture.
• Proven experience designing large-scale distributed systems (APIs, data pipelines, event-driven systems).
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) to deliver production systems.
• Strong engineering fundamentals in code quality, testing, CI/CD, and observability.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with React Native or Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Experience working with distributed teams across US, China, and LATAM.
