Description

Own the mobile automation strategy for iOS and Android, building robust test suites with Playwright and Appium.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automation scripts using Playwright, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end tests across mobile devices and OS versions.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Validate backend integrations through API testing and log defects in JIRA.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams on test planning, estimation, and case reviews.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of QA automation experience with a focus on mobile testing.
• Hands-on expertise with Playwright for web and mobile automation.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript for writing test code.
• Experience with Appium and mobile device emulators/simulators for iOS and Android.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Git.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman and RESTful services.
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong debugging and analytical problem-solving skills.
