Job Description:
We are looking for a Mobile QA Engineer with strong experience testing Ionic-based mobile applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and usability of hybrid mobile apps across iOS and Android platforms. This role requires close collaboration with developers, product owners, and business teams in an onsite environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform manual and automated testing of Ionic / hybrid mobile applications
Test mobile apps across iOS and Android devices and emulators
Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
Validate UI/UX, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
Identify, log, track, and retest defects using tools like JIRA
Work closely with development teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
Ensure quality standards are met before production releases
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Mobile Application Testing
Strong hands-on experience testing Ionic / hybrid mobile applications
Experience with Android and iOS testing
Knowledge of mobile testing tools (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or similar)
Familiarity with API testing (Postman, REST services)
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
Excellent communication skills and ability to work onsite
Nice to Have:
Experience with mobile automation tools (Appium, Selenium, Cypress)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
Exposure to performance or security testing
Prior experience working in financial or enterprise applications
