You will manage mobile device operations and security policies within the VMware Workspace ONE environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day mobility engineering tasks and maintain VMware Workspace ONE UEM.
• Apply configuration changes and deploy or adjust policies for managed devices.
• Manage OS and application patching workflows using platform capabilities.
• Troubleshoot enrollment issues, secure app access, VPN/Tunnel configurations, and policy conflicts.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience managing mobile devices (iOS/Android) in VMware Workspace ONE UEM.
• Ability to update and deploy profiles, compliance rules, applications, and policies.
• Understanding of patching workflows, including Workspace ONE Time Windows for OS/app updates.
• Familiarity with Workspace ONE Access and integrating device posture with Okta for secure authentication.
• Proficiency in mobile application management (VPP, Managed Google Play, internal apps).
• Knowledge of BYOD vs corporate-owned deployment models and security considerations.
• Basic scripting or automation skills (PowerShell, Python, or UEM API usage).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with core programming languages including Java, C, C++, and Visual Basic.
