Description

Validate modem performance and drive the development of 5G Advanced and 6G features.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis to define features and functions for 5G Advanced and 6G.
• Analyze L2/L3 call flows including LTE, VoLTE, and 5G VoNR.
• Partner with RF Engineering to drive network design and meet performance objectives.
• Analyze traces including PCAP and gNB traces to ensure network quality.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in modem system validation.
• Deep 4G/5G protocol knowledge, including 5G/LTE and VoLTE platforms.
• Expertise in log analysis and trace analysis (PCAP, gNB).
• Proficiency with system performance tools: Airwave, RTT, xLPT, Truecall, VSON, Scanner, Spectrum Analyzers, and Network Analyzers.
• Experience with data analysis and post-processing tools: DMAT, Irisview, Accurver, Windcatcher, Actix, or TEMS Discovery.
• Strong understanding of LTE, VoLTE, and 5G VoNR L2/L3 call flows.
