Description

You will test 5G/4G/3G Cellular modem chipsets or devices (UE) for protocol conformance, performance, and interoperability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute test plans targeting 5G NR and LTE L2/L3 protocol features (RLC, PDCP, MAC, RRC, NAS).
• Analyze logs and troubleshoot issues using 3GPP/IMS Protocol call flows in UE/network protocol interactions.
• Isolate complex issues across multiple protocol layers and identify root causes using trace analysis tools.
• Lead and drive testing activities by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Perform hands-on testing using test equipment for GCF, PTCRB, and Carrier certification.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on testing experience in 5G/4G/3G Cellular modem chipset or device (UE).
• Strong understanding of 3GPP and Carrier specifications for LTE and NR.
• Expertise in RLC, PDCP, MAC, RRC, and NAS layers.
• Hands-on experience with test equipment for GCF, PTCRB, and Carrier certification (e.g., Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex protocol interactions across multiple layers.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field.
