Description

You will manage and support large-scale MongoDB environments and database architectures across multiple data centers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and support MongoDB Ops Manager environments.
• Implement Kerberos and LDAP authorization and authentication protocols.
• Manage MongoDB shards scaled across multiple data centers.
• Execute database backups and restores using LVM snapshots and Ops Manager.
• Design MongoDB schemas and tune system parameters for performance.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience with MongoDB administration and Ops Manager.
• Hands-on experience managing MongoDB shards and multi-datacenter deployments.
• Proficiency in Perl and/or Java scripting.
• Experience implementing Kerberos and LDAP authentication.
• Knowledge of LVM snapshots for database backup and recovery.
• Ability to write MongoDB schemas using Mongos.
• Experience with Jira and Agile delivery workflows.
• Ability to tune MongoDB system parameters.

Preferred Skills

• Any graduate degree.
