Description

You manage and maintain the MongoDB database infrastructure, ensuring maximum availability and performance for enterprise-scale applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain MongoDB/Atlas databases and associated projects.
• Establish backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Design and implement sharding and indexing strategies for large data volumes.
• Configure and monitor replica sets, performing patch upgrades and user permission management.

Required Skills

• 4 to 8+ years of professional IT experience.
• 3-4 years of hands-on experience with MongoDB in enterprise architectures, including replica sets and sharding.
• Strong proficiency with MongoDB and MongoDB Atlas.
• Experience designing and optimizing strategies for inserting large amounts of data.
• Proficiency with DevOps automation tools, specifically Ansible.
• Strong knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery architecture.
• Ability to create users, assign roles, and manage permissions.
• Strong problem research and resolution skills.
