MongoDB Admin

You will manage and maintain MongoDB database environments within a large-scale banking infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage MongoDB architecture, internals, and ReplicaSet clusters.
• Execute MongoDB sharding, database patching, and version upgrades.
• Handle database migrations and backup/restore mechanisms using Ops Manager.
• Perform database performance tuning and monitoring.
• Utilize automation tools and Agile practices to maintain system stability.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of database administration experience in large organizations.
• Mandatory banking sector background.
• Expertise in MongoDB architecture, internals, and ReplicaSet clusters.
• Deep knowledge of MongoDB sharding and Ops Manager.
• Experience with MongoDB backup/restore and database patching/upgrades.
• Proficiency in performance tuning and database migration.
• Working knowledge of Mongo SQL (MQL).
• Competency with Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Experience with automation technologies such as Ansible, Jenkins, or Terraform.
• Familiarity with Agile working practices.

Preferred Skills

• Scripting experience using Bash or Python.
• Knowledge of other database technologies.
