Description

You will manage and optimize MongoDB database environments to ensure high availability and performance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize MongoDB schemas, indexes, and queries to improve performance.
• Manage MongoDB replica sets, sharding, and high availability configurations.
• Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies.
• Diagnose and resolve database performance and troubleshooting issues.
• Conduct design reviews and provide technical recommendations for system improvements.

Required Skills

• 5-6 years of experience as a MongoDB Administrator.
• In-depth knowledge of MongoDB database internals, architecture, and best practices.
• Proficiency in query optimization, index design, and schema design.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB Atlas and GCP.
• Experience with Private Service Connect.
• Familiarity with MongoDB monitoring tools and techniques.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• MongoDB administration certification.
