Description

You will manage and maintain the organization's MongoDB and related database infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain MongoDB and MongoDB Atlas database projects.
• Design and implement sharding and indexing strategies for high-volume data insertion.
• Configure and monitor replica sets to ensure high availability.
• Establish and execute procedures for backup, recovery, and disaster recovery.
• Build and automate operational infrastructure to support database environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in database environments.
• Strong, hands-on experience with MongoDB in enterprise-scale architectures, including replica sets and sharding.
• Proficiency with MongoDB Atlas.
• Experience designing and optimizing strategies for high-volume data insertion.
• Strong knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery architecture.
• Familiarity with DevOps automation tools, specifically Ansible.
• Ability to establish database security procedures, managing user roles and permissions.
• Strong problem research and resolution skills.
