Description

Manage and optimize large-scale MongoDB deployments and enterprise server hosting infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement MongoDB schema models using DB Ref, Manual Ref, and Embedded Data Model Design.
• Configure and monitor replica sets, sharding, replication, and clustering, including sharding key benchmarking and selection.
• Execute operational routines including backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning.
• Manage user permissions, roles, and security measures while leading root cause analysis for high-impact production issues.
• Drive architectural standards, code review processes, and design patterns to meet SLAs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of technology architecture experience specifically in MongoDB.
• 3+ years of experience managing MongoDB in cloud environments.
• 10+ years of experience with RDBMS technology.
• Expertise in MongoDB schema design and query performance optimization.
• Advanced knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Proven experience in 24x7 production support and disaster recovery.
• Proficiency in index key selection and database performance tuning.
• MMS configuration experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with testing methodologies in database contexts.
