Description

You will act as a NoSQL/MongoDB database engineer supporting product engineering and cloud automation projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Automate configuration, deployment, and support across multiple versions using Ansible, Terraform, and MongoDB Ops Manager.
• Provision and administer MongoDB environments, including sharded clusters, replication, and performance optimization.
• Implement server provisioning and lifecycle management for internal cloud-based DBaaS service offerings.
• Perform deep troubleshooting and performance testing within Linux and Windows operating systems.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of NoSQL database engineering experience.
• Expertise in MongoDB provisioning, administration, and MongoDB Atlas.
• Proficiency with MongoDB Ops Manager automation and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with shell scripting (C/Kor/Bourne Linux shell) and MongoDB JSON scripting.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language: Python, Java, or Perl.
• Experience with automation tools: Ansible, BladeLogic, or Terraform.
• Strong systems engineering acumen in Redhat Linux and Windows OS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cassandra or other NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with RDBMS such as Oracle, MS-SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with SDLC tools: CI/CD, Jenkins, Datical/Liquibase, SonarQube, and automated testing.
