Description

Support product engineering and cloud automation projects as a hands-on NoSQL database engineer focused on DBaaS automation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Automate configuration, deployment, and support across multiple versions using Ansible, Terraform, and MongoDB Ops Manager.
• Manage MongoDB provisioning and administration, including sharded clusters, replication, and performance optimization.
• Implement LDAP connectivity with role-based access control.
• Execute server provisioning, builds, and lifecycle management within Redhat Linux and Windows environments.
• Perform deep troubleshooting and performance testing for internal cloud-based DBaaS services.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of NoSQL database engineering experience.
• Expertise in MongoDB provisioning, administration, and MongoDB Atlas.
• Experience with MongoDB Ops Manager automation and API.
• Proficiency in MongoDB JSON scripting.
• Hands-on experience with shell scripting (C/Korn/Bourne Linux shell).
• Experience with at least one scripting language: Python, Java, or Perl.
• Practical use of automation tools: Ansible, BladeLogic, or Terraform.
• Strong systems engineering acumen with Redhat Linux and Windows OS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cassandra or other NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with RDBMS including Oracle, MS-SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of SDLC tools: CI/CD, Jenkins, Datical/Liquibase, SonarQube, and automated testing.
