Description

You will manage the lifecycle, performance, and security of MongoDB clusters.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain MongoDB clusters, replica sets, and sharding configurations.
• Perform backup and restore operations using mongodump, mongorestore, and Ops Manager.
• Tune performance and optimize queries through index management and storage analysis.
• Monitor database health, troubleshoot replication issues, and resolve connectivity problems.
• Implement security measures including authentication, RBAC, and TLS.

Required Skills

• 8-12 years of experience with MongoDB administration.
• Strong expertise in replica set and sharding configuration.
• Proficiency in performance tuning and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with backup/restore tools (mongodump, mongorestore, Ops Manager).
• Knowledge of database security implementation (Authentication, RBAC, TLS).
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with monitoring database health and storage usage at scale.
