Description

You will manage the development, deployment, and support of scalable MongoDB environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain MongoDB and MongoDB Atlas databases.
• Design high-availability solutions using replica sets and sharding strategies.
• Automate database processes using Python and DevOps tools like Ansible, Azure DevOps, and GitHub.
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Monitor environments, perform patch upgrades, and optimize query performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB in enterprise-scale environments.
• Production experience with MongoDB Atlas.
• Proficiency with Python and Ansible.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Knowledge of replica sets, sharding, and indexing strategies.
• Understanding of backup and disaster recovery architecture.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills

• MongoDB Certified DBA Associate or related certifications.
• Cloud platform certifications (Azure or AWS).
• Experience supporting mission-critical systems in highly regulated environments.
