Description

You will own the design, implementation, and maintenance of MongoDB database infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage MongoDB installation, configuration, and performance tuning to resolve bottlenecks and slow queries.
• Develop and test disaster recovery, backup, and recovery strategies to ensure data availability.
• Enforce security measures, access controls, encryption, and perform regular security audits.
• Implement proactive monitoring and alerting to minimize service disruptions.
• Lead database projects including migrations, consolidations, and performance enhancements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of proven experience as a MongoDB Database Administrator.
• In-depth knowledge of MongoDB architecture, installation, and configuration.
• Expertise in database performance tuning and resolving resource contention.
• Experience with database automation and scripting.
• Proven ability to manage database patching, upgrades, and disaster recovery.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing complex database-related issues.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
