Description

You will manage, optimize, and secure MongoDB and relational database environments to ensure high availability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize MongoDB Atlas environments, including replication, sharding, and backup strategies.
• Manage AWS RDS instances for PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server, ensuring reliability and disaster recovery.
• Implement monitoring, performance tuning, and query optimization strategies to maintain database health.
• Develop and maintain backup and recovery plans to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Automate database administration tasks using Python or Bash scripting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Strong expertise in MongoDB Atlas, replication, and sharding.
• Hands-on experience with AWS RDS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server).
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for automation.
• Experience with database security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Knowledge of database performance tuning and query optimization.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Database, MS SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Google CloudSQL, Yugabyte, or CockroachDB.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Terraform for database automation.
