Description

You will manage the design, implementation, and administration of MongoDB database infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage MongoDB installation, configuration, and performance tuning to resolve bottlenecks and slow queries.
• Develop and test disaster recovery, backup, and recovery strategies to ensure data availability.
• Enforce security measures, including access controls, encryption, and periodic vulnerability assessments.
• Set up proactive monitoring and alerting to identify and respond to database health issues.
• Automate routine management tasks using scripting and workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of proven experience as a MongoDB Database Administrator.
• In-depth knowledge of MongoDB architecture, installation, and administration.
• Hands-on experience with Sharding.
• Expertise in database performance tuning and resolving resource contention.
• Proficiency in MongoDB production support and troubleshooting.
• Experience implementing security, backup, and recovery best practices.
• Ability to lead database-related projects and guide junior team members.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with database clustering and load balancing technologies.
