Description

You will manage and optimize MongoDB database infrastructure in a 24x7 rotational shift environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage MongoDB installation, configuration, and performance tuning to ensure high availability and security.
• Develop and execute disaster recovery, backup, and recovery strategies to ensure data continuity.
• Identify and resolve complex performance bottlenecks, slow queries, and resource contention issues.
• Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and security measures including access controls and encryption.
• Lead database projects such as migrations, consolidations, and automation via scripting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a MongoDB Database Administrator.
• Deep understanding of MongoDB architecture, installation, and administration.
• Hands-on experience with Sharding.
• Proven background in Production Support.
• Experience with database clustering and load balancing technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing complex database-related incidents.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to work a 24x7 rotational shift schedule (8 AM–5 PM, 4 PM–1 AM, or 12 AM–9 AM).
