Description

You will manage, monitor, and troubleshoot complex database environments across multiple platforms. You own the release pipeline, performance optimization, and high availability architecture for our NoSQL and SQL data stores.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high availability, clustering, and disaster recovery solutions across multi-zone environments.
• Automate operational tasks including security management, index maintenance, backups, and disaster recovery using scripting.
• Manage database schema changes, code deployments, and data movement for ETL processes.
• Optimize database performance and capacity planning to handle high throughput requirements.
• Configure and maintain security standards through grants, roles, profiles, and auditing.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of DBA experience with a focus on MongoDB, SQL Server, and Cassandra.
• Proven experience architecting and maintaining MongoDB, Oracle, and MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with replication, partitioning, and sharding setups.
• Proficiency in Python, Shell, and PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Jira, and Ansible.
• Knowledge of TLS/SSL, Kerberos, and LDAP integration.
• Expertise in server builds, upgrades, migrations, and initial sync/recovery procedures.
• Ability to identify bottlenecks and implement remediation and backup solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing and deploying solutions in multi-zone clustered environments.
