Description

You will develop and maintain MongoDB databases for high-volume, high-availability applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain optimized data models and aggregation pipelines.
• Build database integrations with backend services using Java, Node.js, or Python.
• Perform query optimization, performance tuning, and manage replica sets and sharding.
• Ensure data security, access controls, and backup/recovery strategies align with enterprise guidelines.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, monitor production databases, and provide root-cause analysis.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with MongoDB in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of MongoDB schema design, indexing, and the aggregation framework.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language: Java, Node.js, or Python.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
• Experience with MongoDB Atlas and cloud-based deployments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Git.
• Strong understanding of database fundamentals and data consistency models.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or retail domains.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and data governance standards.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
