Description

You will design, develop, and maintain MongoDB database solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability for backend services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop MongoDB schemas aligned with application access patterns and performance requirements.
• Implement operations, aggregations, indexing strategies, and query optimizations to resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Manage and support MongoDB deployments on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including configuration of replica sets, sharding, and backup/restore strategies.
• Monitor database performance, proactively resolving issues related to scalability, availability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with application and DevOps teams to integrate MongoDB with APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, aggregations, and performance tuning.
• Experience with MongoDB Atlas Change Streams.
• Proficiency with cloud environments: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of NoSQL concepts and distributed database systems.
• Knowledge of backup, recovery, and high availability strategies.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Kafka or messaging systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and data migration.
