Description

You will design, customize, and manage MongoDB applications and database infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and customize MongoDB applications to meet specific business requirements.
• Implement database updates and manage data migrations.
• Debug and troubleshoot database issues as they arise.
• Analyze databases to advise on and implement performance optimizations.
• Manage backup and disaster recovery plans.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience with Java, J2EE, and the Spring Framework.
• Experience building web applications and REST APIs.
• Proficiency with version control and Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins.
• Working knowledge of cloud technologies including AWS and Google Cloud.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and MS SQL Server.
• Exposure to Agile software development methodologies.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Big Data platforms including Cassandra, Hadoop, or Marklogic.
