Description

You will build and maintain data solutions using MongoDB, focusing on performance, migration, and security.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design document structures using embedded and normalized models for optimal read/write performance.
• Develop complex aggregation pipelines and advanced CRUD operations.
• Implement data quality processes, including profiling, monitoring, and remediation during migration.
• Develop migration scripts and automation using Python or JavaScript.
• Apply security best practices, ensuring authentication and encryption for sensitive data.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in MongoDB data modeling, schema design, and query optimization.
• Expertise in MongoDB replication, sharding, replica sets, and high availability.
• Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript for development and scripting.
• Experience building applications using Microservices Architecture and Spring Boot.
• Expert knowledge of AWS or Google Cloud and cloud migration strategies.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and relational database concepts (SQL).
• Experience with MongoDB Atlas, Shell, and native tools.
• Understanding of data lifecycle, metadata, and lineage.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Kafka for event streaming.
• Experience with Node.js and Java ecosystems.
