Description

Manage and optimize MongoDB database environments across cloud platforms. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage MongoDB database clusters, including replica sets, sharding, and backups.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and schema design improvements.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to database performance, availability, and connectivity.
• Monitor and manage database storage, capacity planning, and scaling.
• Support MongoDB deployments on cloud platforms including AWS and Microsoft Azure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database engineering or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of MongoDB architecture, aggregation framework, and schema design.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB Atlas or self-managed clusters in cloud environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience managing database connectivity and availability.
• Background in data engineering and MongoDB development.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• MongoDB Certified DBA certification.
